Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Attorney to handle litigated matters with emphasis on defensive litigation involving residential real estate, title to real property, mortgages and foreclosure. The candidate must have excellent written and oral advocacy skills and experience with civil litigation.

Qualifications

• Jurist Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Ability to consistently bill 1920 hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of litigation stemming from mortgage servicing and/or foreclosure matters.
• Manage pre-litigation cases and assist with clearing title to real property.
• Prepare analysis of cases and advise client regarding strategies.
• Draft court pleadings and motions.
• Discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences and court appearances.
