ManpowerGroup's client is seeking a Resident Support Engineer for a remote USA role. You will handle resident and customer-facing tech operations with a focus on Linux environments, networking, and cloud components.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, strong scripting, experience with OpenStack/Heat/Azure AKS, and familiarity with SIP/IP telephony. Collaboration across DevOps teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a client-facing technical role with a history of customer focus and empathy.
• Proficiency with Linux-based OS and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with OpenStack, Heat templates, and Azure AKS; familiarity with SIP/IP Telephony.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident, client-facing technical support for Linux-based environments and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex application and telecom issues; reproduce and document findings for engineering, support, and sales.
• Use packet capture tools (Wireshark) and networking protocols to identify irregularities and drive resolution.
• Support cloud/platform components (OpenStack, Heat, Azure AKS) and DevOps workflows (Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Investigate identity/access systems (WSO2 Identity Server, LDAP, SSO) and 5G call flows when applicable.
