You will lead curriculum development, assess learning needs, and stay current with regulations and products to improve employee performance.

Qualifications

• Six years of underwriting experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
• Skilled in underwriting training or project/process management in a corporate environment.
• Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information in a learning environment.
• Strong documentation and writing/editing skills.
• Creative thinker and collaborator to design engaging learning and development programs.
• Proficiency using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Apply best practices in curriculum design and delivery to department staff and stakeholders in alignment with industry and company requirements.
• Develop clear and measurable learning criteria for different levels of underwriting knowledge and technical expertise.
• Keep current on regulatory rules, product offerings, and technology advances.
• Share insights through group and individual training.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and identify gaps; collaborate with management on improvements.
• Assess team needs to identify opportunities for career development and employee engagement.
• Participate in cross-functional projects/programs requiring collaboration with Underwriting.
