You’ll evaluate large cases, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements with Lean practices, using AWD or similar systems and MS Office to support financial analysis and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 6 years of life or health underwriting experience.
• Proficiency with AWD or similar underwriting systems and MS Office.
• Solid financial analytics and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within the underwriting team and collaborate with related groups.
• Make complex underwriting decisions and defend them when required.
• Mentor staff and drive process improvements across workflows.
