Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Lead Enhanced Life Underwriting Analyst to drive modernization, automation, and process improvements in life underwriting. You will partner with operations, product, and technology teams to define needs, design solutions, and manage testing, deployment, and training.

The role emphasizes stakeholder communication and change management as initiatives progress. The position offers remote work in the United States with occasional travel, a salary range of $87,000–$105,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Underwriting industry knowledge and strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience with underwriting tools, rules engines, and data sources is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead life underwriting transformation initiatives and modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Distribution, Technology, Product, and vendors.
• Manage requirements, design, testing, deployment, training, and post-launch support.
• Provide training, stakeholder communications, and change-management support.
• Coach and mentor team members while guiding project leadership.
