Transamerica is seeking a Lead Analyst to drive life underwriting transformation, delivering strategic projects and modernization across operations, product, and technology.

You will collaborate with Life Underwriting, Operations, and Distribution, shaping requirements, solution design, testing, training, and post-launch support while guiding organizational change and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Six years of life or health underwriting experience.
• Three years of underwriting experience within Transamerica or three years of high level experience working on an enhanced underwriting project.
• Understanding of the enhanced underwriting user interface.
• In-depth knowledge of industry products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple groups.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Time-management skills across multiple priorities.
• Willingness to continue education in the insurance sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead life underwriting transformation initiatives that support modernization, automation, and operational excellence.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions align with life underwriting objectives and operational needs.
• Facilitate project planning, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
• Serve as the life underwriting representative on cross-functional initiatives involving Operations, Distribution, Technology, Product, and vendors.
• Develop and deliver training, knowledge transfer, and communication plans to stakeholders.
• Coordinate business readiness activities and implementation support.
• Support release planning, production validation, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Drive issue resolution and escalation management to ensure successful outcomes.
• Evaluate new data sources, rules, and underwriting tools to improve decision-making.
• Assist in managing project timelines, priorities, and stakeholder communication.
• Serve as a liaison between multiple departments and vendors.
