Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Sales Director - Life Sciences to lead regional sales efforts. This remote role focuses on developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets and build lasting customer relationships across the Life Sciences sector.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), an MBA preferred, and prior JR Automation or automation industry experience. A comprehensive drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises regional sales managers.
• Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
• Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executives are informed on progress.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and understand their business objectives.
• Forecasts and sets regional sales quotas and projects volumes and profit.
• Maintains sales staff results through coaching and performance management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
