JoVE is seeking a Product Manager who blends deep understanding of scientific research workflows with a builder's mindset to translate user needs into impactful product solutions. You will identify challenges across the research and publication lifecycle and turn insights into features, using AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate discovery.

The role offers autonomy, collaboration with global teams, and a clear path to impact science research and education in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline or 2–5 years of Product Management experience in scientific publishing, scientific SaaS, BioPharma software, Life Sciences technology, HealthTech, or EdTech.
• Strong understanding of scientific research workflows and publishing processes is highly desirable.
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product decisions.
• Builder mentality with ability to prototype quickly and use AI/no-code tools independently.

Responsabilités

• Identify opportunities to improve JoVE products by understanding researchers' needs and workflows across the research and publication lifecycle.
• Apply knowledge of scientific literature discovery, journal submission, peer review, and academic publishing to craft practical solutions.
• Conduct user research to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and identify high-impact product opportunities.
• Utilize AI tools to draft specifications, prototype ideas, and automate workflows to boost efficiency.
• Communicate product vision and trade-offs clearly across cross-functional teams.
