Job summary

CohnReznick, a national professional services firm, is seeking a Manager to join the Life Sciences team within Client Accounting Advisory. This remote role may require occasional office presence for client work, meetings, or trainings.

The candidate will lead the Life Sciences accounting team, deliver complex services, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in CAS/CAAS, 3+ years in Life Sciences, strong GAAP, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; MBA and/or CPA are a plus.
• 10+ years in CAS/CAAS within a public accounting firm.
• 3+ years in Life Sciences industry experience.
• Strong GAAP experience and controllership functions (consolidations, GL close, financial reporting).
• Technical accounting to analyze contracts and translate to accounting records.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Life Sciences accounting team and ensure timely client delivery.
• Independently perform complex accounting services for clients.
• Guide a global team, mentor, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage monthly close processes, budgeting, and client billings.
• Develop client relationships with proactive communication and AR management.
• Ensure quality control and identify process improvements.
