Job summary

CFGO is seeking a talented Accounting Manager to join our growing remote-based team serving life sciences clients. You will oversee day-to-day financial operations for key accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Based near Boston, you will mentor a team of accounting professionals, prepare financial statements and budgets, monitor cash flow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience within early-stage biotech or medical device industry is preferred.
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
• Managerial experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; Access, database, or other system knowledge
• CPA or CMA license preferable but not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial operations for key clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and financial reporting
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making
