Job summary

Novogene America is seeking an Account Manager to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory. The role includes developing sales plans, managing accounts, and requires 50% travel within the Birmingham, AL area.

A Bachelor's degree in life sciences and strong knowledge of genomics are required. The compensation includes a base salary of $75K to $100K along with performance-based incentives and benefits such as medical insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years of life science sales experience utilizing genomics-related technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the territory.
• Maintain understanding of the company’s products and services.
• Manage existing accounts and expand the customer base.
• Participate in sales activities and attend events.
• Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information.
• Understand industry trends and inform internal stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties related to sales.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of sequencing/next-generation sequencing and genomics

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

Strong business acumen

Life science sales experience

Proven track record of generating new customer leads

Education

Bachelor's degree in life sciences

Advanced degree preferred
