Job summary

Thomas Scientific is seeking a Sales Associate to manage University of Pennsylvania accounts remotely in a full-time capacity. You will handle daily customer communications, lead generation, RFP/RFQ processes, and product-based sales strategies.

The role requires 1–3 years of sales experience, life-science market familiarity, and strong computer/ERP skills. You will work from a home office, meeting weekly goals and delivering reports on account status.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Prior experience with life science market and/or university sales helpful.
• Proficient use of computer hardware, business software and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with customers to solicit orders, win accounts, and grow business via face-to-face, phone and email.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
• Manage review and completion of RFP/RFQ bid opportunities.
• Study data on products to develop sales approach.
• Identify customer goals and provide solutions offered by the company.
• Quote prices and prepare sales contracts for orders/POs.
• Use ERP system for data entry and prepare weekly status reports.
