The role requires 1–3 years of sales experience and a bachelor's degree. Proficient computer skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience with the life science market or university sales helpful.
• Proficient computer skills and common office equipment.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and detail.
• Ability to read and interpret business materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell and grow accounts in the assigned territory for scientific supplies and equipment.
• Communicate with customers face-to-face, by phone, and email to solicit orders.
• Identify and pursue new sales leads and RFP/RFQ opportunities.
• Study product data to tailor sales approaches and solutions.
• Quote prices, prepare contracts, and manage delivery timelines.
• Prepare weekly account status reports and maintain records.
• Utilize ERP system for data entry and order tracking.
• Meet weekly in-person goals and respond to emails within one business day.
