Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will work your own pipeline of families who requested coverage and earn commissions based on your results.

You will use web-based quoting platforms and a CRM to manage cases, and you will receive mentorship from Ben and Andrea while collaborating with a broad carrier network to place the right policy for each client.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• Track record of selling where results depend on your own work.
• Comfortable managing yourself without daily direction.
• Strong follow-up habits; cases don’t move without attention.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information.
• Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn.
• Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment.
• Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out.
• Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate.
• Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change.
