Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking capable individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 life insurance sales role. No prior insurance experience is required, and licensing is completed as part of onboarding.

You will guide families who have requested information through licensing, applications, underwriting, and final decisions. Ideal candidates are career changers who communicate well, manage their own time from home, and are willing to obtain state licensing before selling.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn state licensing requirements
• Able to work independently from home with reliable internet
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Speak with people who have already requested information about life insurance
• Ask about the household, goals, and concerns before presenting anything
• Walk through suitable options and complete the application with the client
• Stay with each case through underwriting and keep the client informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM after every conversation
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
