Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent-contractor life insurance sales representative who works from home in a fully remote role. You will call and video-chat with leads, understand each family’s needs, present suitable options, and guide them through the application process.

You’ll manage underwriting support, communicate progress to families, and participate in ongoing product and state-regulation training. A state license (or plan to obtain) is required before selling.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state life insurance license or plan to obtain one before first sale.
• Able to work remotely from a home office in a disciplined, self-directed manner.
• Legal to work in the United States and at least 18 years old.
• Comfortable scheduling appointments by phone and video.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who already requested life insurance information.
• Learn each household's situation and priorities before showing options.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and complete the application with the family.
• Follow every application through underwriting and update the family until a decision.
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM as they happen.
• Keep up with ongoing training on products, carriers, and state rules.
