Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an Inside Sales contractor for a fully remote, 1099 life insurance sales role in the United States. You will build and manage a pipeline, schedule appointments by phone and video, and guide prospects from discovery to policy issuance.

You’ll work with 43 carriers, use exclusive lead systems, and participate in weekly calls and mentorship from Ben and Andrea to sharpen your skills and close cases.

Qualifications

• Inside sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Comfortable working a pipeline and following up without a manager prompting you.
• Able to explain a product someone has never bought before.
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to sit the exam before your first sale.
• Equipped for fully remote work: computer, phone, and reliable internet.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
