Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a fully remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will manage a sales pipeline, schedule appointments by phone and video, present insurance options across multiple carriers, and complete applications on the call while guiding cases to issue.

This role includes ongoing mentorship from Ben and Andrea and access to a broad carrier network. Ideal candidates have inside sales, account management, or business development experience, can

Qualifications

• Inside sales, account management or business development experience.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up without a manager prompting you.
• Must have a state life insurance license or plan to sit the exam before your first sale.
• Fully remote work: computer, internet, and reliable connectivity.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and hold back-to-back appointments by phone and video.
• Open with discovery, then present options across multiple carriers.
• Complete the application on the call, then carry the case to policy issue.
• Log every conversation and next step in the CRM as it happens.
• Keep clients informed while the carrier reviews the application.
• Stay sharp on product details and state insurance rules.
