The Wood Agency Life in the United States invites educators and school professionals to join a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You’ll leverage your ability to explain complex ideas to families who requested information, working on a flexible schedule that you manage.

You’ll meet leads by phone or video, listen to families’ goals, present coverage options in plain language, and complete the application with them.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to families.
• Licensed life insurance agent or plan to obtain license before first sale.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who have asked about life insurance.
• Listen to families' situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Guide the application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Keep learning as products and rules change and training continues.
