Job summary

The Wood Agency Life in the United States is seeking educators to join as remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professionals. You’ll meet by phone or video with families who’ve requested information and guide them through coverage options.

Work on your own schedule, with training, licensing support, and access to multiple carriers. This role rewards clear explanations and compassionate guidance as you build your client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complicated ideas clearly.
• Create your own schedule rather than follow a fixed calendar.
• Must have a state life insurance license, or plan to obtain one before first sale.
• Willing to learn a new regulated field.
• At least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with families who requested information.
• Listen to family goals and worries.
• Explain coverage options and complete applications together.
• Guide applications through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Engage in ongoing training as products and rules change.
