The Wood Agency Life is seeking an independent contractor for a 100% remote life insurance sales role. You will meet families by phone or video, listen to their needs, and explain coverage options in plain language to complete applications.

As a licensed life insurance agent, you will guide clients through underwriting, maintain CRM notes, and participate in ongoing training. This is a commission-based role with no salary or hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Willingness to learn a regulated field from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with families who asked about life insurance.
• Listen to the family’s situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing training as products and rules change.
