The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. This role is ideal for someone with teaching, coaching, or school experience who can explain complex ideas clearly to families requesting coverage.

You’ll meet by phone or video with interested clients, listen to their goals, present options in plain language, complete applications, and guide cases through underwriting and onto policy issuance.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complicated ideas clearly to families.
• Licensed or plan to obtain state life insurance license before first sale.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Meet by phone or video with people who requested information on life insurance.
• Listen to families' situation, goals, and worries.
• Explain coverage options in plain language and complete the application together.
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed.
