Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking skilled field-service oriented individuals for a 100% remote life insurance sales role operating as independent contractors (1099) in the United States. You will follow up with information requests, set appointments, and walk clients through coverage options.

As you progress, you’ll handle underwriting steps, maintain CRM records, and leverage our licensed-carrier network and exclusive leads.

Qualifications

• Background in trades, construction, or field service is a plus.
• Willing to learn software including quoting tools and a CRM.
• Must have or be pursuing a state life insurance license.
• Self-directed with ability to manage your own schedule.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with requests and set appointments by phone or video.
• Discuss coverage options and complete applications with clients.
• Guide cases through underwriting and provide updates to clients.
• Log calls and notes in the CRM and track next steps.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
