Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (MD) for peak hours, evenings and weekends, fully remote with Maryland licensure required. Part-time schedule with weekday and weekend hours.

We serve children, teens, and young adults online, offering competitive pay and strong professional growth pathways. Responsibilities include intake assessments, trauma-informed treatment planning, team collaboration, and robust documentation in our EHR, plus family education and care

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
• Experience with children, teens, and families.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team — therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR
• Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room
