Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Proficiency delivering individual and group therapy with focus on inclusivity and cultural responsiveness.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally informed mental health assessments to guide treatment planning.
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient’s cultural context and history.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local resources.
• Maintain confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training.
