Job summary

Deeper Strength Counseling Services seeks a licensed Mental Health Therapist for a fully remote, full-time position in Virginia. You will conduct culturally informed assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will educate clients about options, maintain confidential records, and stay current with research to improve practice in a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health field from an accredited program.
• Licensed LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia.
• Knowledge of culturally competent therapeutic approaches.
• Experience with individual and group therapy in diverse settings.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clients.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments with focus on individual needs.
• Formulate tailored treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and psychologists for holistic care.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies.
