Job summary

Mindsight Behavioral Health Center is seeking a licensed mental health counselor for a full-time remote role in California. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and lead individual and group therapy sessions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current California LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license.
• Master's degree or doctoral in a relevant field.
• Pass NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and assessments to document client histories.
• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Lead individual therapy and group therapy sessions.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate care.
• Perform follow-up assessments and report hospital admissions as needed.
• Support families and caregivers with education and guidance.
