Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Certified Mental Health Counselor for a fully remote, full-time position. You will assess clients, craft tailored treatment plans, and deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain compliant EHR records, and provide referrals as needed. Our center emphasizes diversity, ongoing training, and professional growth within California.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, MFT, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current California license (LMFT/LPCC/LCSW).
• Minimum four years of relevant clinical experience.
• Understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based approaches.
• Experience in individual and group therapy with culturally sensitive techniques.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to maintain composure.
• Proficient with EHR systems and standard computer applications.
• Commitment to ethics, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide regular therapy sessions (individual and group) with diverse modalities.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with social workers, psychiatrists, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant EHR documentation.
• Offer referrals to additional services when required.
