Job summary

The Primary Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) for a full-time remote role, providing assessments, diagnostic work, and evidence-based treatment to a diverse client population.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, use AVATAR EHR, and stay current with psychotherapy practices while delivering compassionate care from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, MFT, mental health counseling, or psychology.
• Current and valid licensure in California as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, and pass scores on NCE/NCMHCE.
• Prior clinical experience as a mental health counselor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telehealth mental health evaluations and document client history from intake to treatment.
• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions and adjust plans based on progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and primary care doctors for holistic care.
• Manage referrals to ensure access to additional services.
