Job summary

Silverwood Behavioral Health Center in Houston, Texas seeks a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team full-time. You will assess clients, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support mental health and recovery.

You will work remotely with a multidisciplinary team, using advanced EHR systems to document progress, coordinate care, and provide psychoeducation to clients and families while upholding ethical standards and cultural

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Texas professional license as LPC/LCSW/LMFT required.
• Minimum of four years of mental health experience.
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and cultural competency.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy.
• Strong crisis intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client mental health needs.
• Create individualized therapy plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families.
