Job summary

Hagerty is seeking a Claims Assistant Manager of Liability to lead and develop a team of auto liability adjusters. You will drive quality performance, coach staff, and collaborate with Liability leadership to deliver cohesive results across claims handling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience handling multi-vehicle auto liability claims.
• Must be detail oriented with high accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance products and liability concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Licensed and bondable.

Responsibilities

• Engage and motivate a team of adjusters to ensure quality performance and customer service.
• Manage workload allocation and monthly file audits.
• Support arbitration and subrogation processes as needed.
• Review and approve reserve and payment requests within authority.
• Conduct staff meetings and provide coaching and development opportunities.
• Hire, train, and develop new adjusters.
