Job summary

Centaris is seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Technician to join a collaborative team supporting clients in a growing IT services company. The role involves handling escalated requests across workstations, servers, cloud services, printers, and networks, delivered by phone or email.

The successful candidate will have IT-related education or certs, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with end users. Remote work is possible for Michigan residents.

Qualifications

• IT-related degree and/or professional IT certifications and/or equivalent experience.
• Natural curiosity/interest in technology.
• Ability to install, configure, upgrade, manage, and trouble shoot various client-server applications.
• Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network system.
• Basic firewall knowledge.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and LAN/WAN networking.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues; provide basic network support and VPN/remote access.
• Coordinate with service delivery to determine availability for requests.
• Create, triage, and document all work as service tickets.
• Provide prompt resolution and excellent customer service to clients.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
