Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Legal Project Manager V for a 12-month remote engagement. You will support the Legal Operations Manager with spend management initiatives and lead negotiations on AFAs, RFPs, and pricing with external law firms and internal teams.

In this role, you will develop templates, playbooks, and processes, rollout MRAs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize legal operations using Google and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in both an in-house legal dept and a law firm.
• Proven project/program management experience.
• Strong contract negotiation skills with stakeholders.
• Experience benchmarking hourly rates for outside counsel.
• Pricing and AFAs negotiation experience.
• Experience developing solutions or operational improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Strong independence, organization, and time management.
• Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Tech-savvy with Google and Microsoft suites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Legal team on spend management initiatives.
• Negotiate AFAs on high-spend matters and proactively identify opportunities to negotiate AFAs.
• Assist with trainings re AFAs.
• Run RFPs including attending follow-up interviews with vendors and the legal team.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to create RFP templates for small and large RFPs.
• Collaborate with the RFP team to build RFP templates via RFP tool.
• Draft process documents and playbooks.
• Roll out the MRA program to new firms and complete all outstanding MRAs.
• Negotiations with law firms on pricing.
