Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent seeks an experienced Legal Operations Program Manager to optimize legal spend, manage AFAs, and improve vendor management for a global technology organization. The role combines legal operations, project leadership, and contract negotiation to drive efficiency.

The successful candidate will collaborate with legal and business stakeholders, support RFPs, and develop scalable processes across the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience working in both a law firm and in-house legal department.
• Proven project or program management experience within legal operations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing outside counsel relationships and legal spend initiatives.
• Knowledge of legal pricing structures and Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs).
• Experience developing operational improvements, procedures, and scalable solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Support legal operations initiatives focused on legal spend management and cost optimization.
• Negotiate AFAs and identify opportunities to drive value through legal vendor engagements.
• Manage and support law firm RFP processes, including vendor evaluations and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop and maintain RFP templates, playbooks, process documentation, and best practices.
• Partner with legal, procurement, and cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows.
• Support law firm pricing discussions and outside counsel management initiatives.
• Assist with the implementation and administration of legal vendor programs and agreements.
• Deliver training and guidance related to legal operations processes and vendor management.
