Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Legal Counsel – Insured Litigation to assist with pre-litigation and litigation matters across medical malpractice, auto and general liability, aviation liability, and workers’ compensation. This role coordinates with outside counsel, insurers, and TPA services, delivering practical legal guidance to operations and HR.

The candidate should have a JD, 5+ years of relevant experience, and be admitted in Texas or Colorado.

Qualifications

• JD degree with strong credentials and admission to practice in Texas or Colorado.
• Significant experience in medical malpractice, auto liability, and general liability litigation; aviation liability and workers’ compensation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between outside counsel and employees and manage data for discovery responses.
• Provide practical legal advice to operations and support departments.
• Conduct legal research on diverse matters as needed.
• Review and resolve liability complaints and manage litigation.
