Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP is seeking a part-time Legal Assistant for a remote role. You will support financial institutions in a variety of creditor rights matters, taking direction from internal and external parties, and producing accurate work with both quantity and quality.

The position emphasizes compliance with laws, regulations, and client requirements while delivering timely services. You will update systems, manage digital filing, and assist with preparing items for courts and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Update internal Firm systems and external client systems within expected timeframes.
• Sort, scan, categorize, label, digitally file and organize legal documents.
• Complete assigned work queue items in designated timeframes.
• Grasp basic legal concepts and terminology that impact accuracy of work product.
• Assist with preparing items for clients and courts.
• Review incoming documents and distribute to appropriate parties.
• Communicate professionally through phone, email, and internal/external messaging systems.
• Complete trainings in the Firm LMS on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
