Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP is offering a remote part-time Legal Assistant position with hourly pay. Schedule hours are between 8:30 and 5:00 PM Eastern.

The role supports financial institutions in creditor rights matters, requiring meticulous document management, timely task completion, and clear communication. The candidate will work in a technology-driven environment, leveraging MS Office and firm systems while adhering to policies and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience working in a technology-driven environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update internal Firm systems and external client systems within the expected timeframes.
• Sort, scan, categorize, label, digitally file and organize legal documentation.
• Complete assigned work queue items within designated timeframes.
• Grasp and retain basic legal concepts and terminology affecting work accuracy.
• Assist with preparing items for clients and courts.
• Review incoming documents and route to appropriate parties.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and internal/external messaging systems.
• Complete trainings in the Firm LMS on schedule.
