Job summary

The Standard is hiring a Leave and Disability Examiner to manage short-term disability, state disability, and leave claims for employees and employers. You will review medical and policy information to determine eligibility and coordinate decisions with internal teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in office or customer service, and familiarity with leave or disability claims.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in office administration or customer service.
• Familiarity with leave, benefits, or disability claim management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage short-term disability, state disability, and leave claims.
• Determine eligibility and benefits by analyzing medical, employment, and policy information.
• Coordinate claim and leave decisions, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to employees, employers, and stakeholders.
