Job summary

Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage lease accounting schedules and related entries. The role requires a foundation in general ledger accounting and familiarity with ASC 842 standards. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting is required, with ASC 842 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting; minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• ASC 842 lease accounting experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of the end-to-end lease accounting process and related controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and resolves variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
