Job summary

Baylor University in Waco is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design and develop online, in-person, and hybrid courses, collaborating with faculty to deliver engaging learner-centered experiences.

The role manages multiple projects, applies OSCQR standards, and leverages Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, and other tools to create high-quality digital learning for Baylor students.

Qualifications

• Masters or equivalent in instructional design or related field.
• Three years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience as an innovative Learning Experience/Instructional Designer.
• Strong understanding of instructional design models, educational theory, and technology.
• Experience developing engaging materials in Canvas or other LMS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to develop engaging, learner-centered course materials.
• Provide pedagogical consultation and design following online best practices and OSCQR.
• Act as project manager for online and hybrid course development.
• Work with stakeholders to support online course development.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies and higher education trends.
• Assist faculty with quality review of course materials.
• Create digital learning assets, assignments, and trainings.
