Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience in instructional design.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in instructional design working with credit-bearing courses in higher education.
• A demonstrated ability in at least one Learning Management System and additional learning technologies relevant to online instruction in higher education.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with multiple constituencies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage online course design projects with faculty and staff.
• Consult with faculty on instructional design strategies and online learning technologies.
• Evaluate instructional effectiveness using existing standards and new approaches.
• Build learner-friendly course experiences using Wake Forest’s online platforms and technologies.
• Support delivery of online courses, resolving instructional issues during active terms.
• Develop best practices for online and blended learning and promote equitable practices.
