Job summary

DEMCO, Inc. is seeking a Learning Environment Field Consultant to remotely manage a territory across K-12 schools and public libraries. You will build relationships with decision-makers, connect customers with space and furniture solutions, and drive ongoing opportunities from initial contact to close.

You’ll travel for tradeshows and customer meetings as needed, coordinate with design teams, and log activities in CRM while striving to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Sales Drive: Prior experience with outbound prospecting or cold calling is highly preferred—you’re energized by connecting with new people and uncovering opportunities.
• Physical Readiness: Able to participate in tradeshows, including setup and breakdown, and occasionally assist with on-site installations or sample deliveries.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable presenting to educators, administrators, and library professionals.
• Self-Starter Mentality: Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Collaboration: Team player who thrives in a supportive environment and works well across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Adaptability: Excited to learn, grow, and navigate a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Start your day with purpose by reviewing your pipeline and planning outbound calls and emails.
• Connect with K-12 schools and public libraries to introduce learning space and furniture solutions and identify opportunities.
• Schedule and attend in-person or virtual meetings with educators, administrators, and library leaders.
• Visit customer sites to take measurements, capture photos, and collaborate with design teams on accurate proposals.
• Represent and network at regional tradeshows, engaging attendees and showcasing solutions.
• Log activity in CRM and coordinate with internal teams on next steps to meet and exceed goals.
