The National Safety Council is seeking a Learning & Development Graphic Designer to create visually engaging, instructionally aligned designs across eLearning modules, instructor‑led materials, print publications, and other learner‑facing assets, while maintaining a consistent NSC visual identity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience designing both eLearning and print products in a professional environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating multi‑modality learning design work.
• Strong understanding of storytelling through visual hierarchy, typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Experience with instructional design team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a professional environment.
• Experience creating animations is a plus.
• Must be comfortable leading the development of new design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design assets for eLearning modules and print deliverables across multiple modalities.
• Create professional layouts and graphics for print publications.
• Prepare files for print, determine print specs, and conduct press checks.
• Transform complex information into learner‑friendly visual formats.
• Maintain visual standards and design systems across NSC training content.
• Collaborate with instructional design, editorial, subject matter experts, and product development.
