Job summary

National Safety Council is seeking a Learning & Development Graphic Designer to create visually compelling, instructionally aligned designs for eLearning, print, and blended formats. You will help establish NSC's visual identity across training products, ensuring accessibility and brand consistency.

You’ll collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts, develop design systems, and prepare print-ready files using Adobe CC and Articulate Storyline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience designing both eLearning and print products in a professional environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating multi-modality learning design work.
• Strong understanding of storytelling through visual hierarchy, typography, layout, color theory, and branding.
• Experience with instructional design team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality visual assets for eLearning modules, instructor‑led training, microlearning, video, and blended learning experiences using Articulate 360.
• Create professional layouts and graphics for print deliverables such as participant guides, job aids, infographics, workbooks, and other training publications.
• Experience in preparing files for print, determining print specifications and conducting press checks.
• Transform complex information into learner‑friendly, accessible visual formats.
• Develop and maintain visual standards, style guides, templates, and design systems specific to training content.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all training materials align with organizational branding and design best practices.
