The team supports work that improves workforce and community development, increases business recruitment, and helps Minnesota small businesses to expand into international trade.
As a Paid Leave Development Supervisor, you will direct Paid Leave developers and quality assurance analysts who are responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Paid Leave applications and related documentation for the Department of Employment & Economic Development (DEED). This position will lead the Paid Leave Development unit and is considered the highest-level technical source within this team and must have expertise, training and experience in multiple technologies. This includes responsibility to hire, coach/develop, supervise, and train developers and quality assurance analysts. This position will be a contributing member of this team as well as being responsible for the supervision and training of this team.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 180 5th St E, St Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location. Telework for Minnesota IT Services is available on a limited basis. Employees will be required to meet current telework eligibility requirements.
Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of IT experience in Application Development.
