Alignerr is seeking a Mathematical Formalization Specialist to translate informal proofs into Lean and related proof systems with precision. You will analyze domain-specific proofs, identify gaps, and build robust formalizations that challenge current automation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Logic, Theoretical CS, or closely related field.
• Strong foundation in rigorous proof writing across algebra, analysis, topology, logic, or discrete math.
• Hands-on experience with Lean (Lean 3/4), Coq, Isabelle/HOL, Agda, or similar proof systems.

Responsibilities

• Translate informal proofs into Lean (and related proof systems) with precision and clarity.
• Analyze proofs to identify gaps, hidden assumptions, and formalizable sub-structures.
• Build formalizations that stress-test proof assistants where automation fails.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve formal verification pipelines.
• Develop readable, reproducible proof scripts aligned with best practices.
