Job summary
Alignerr seeks a Mathematical Formalization Specialist to translate informal proofs into Lean and related proof systems, focusing on precision and structure. Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Logic, Theoretical CS, or related field.
- Strong foundation in rigorous proof writing across algebra, analysis, topology, logic, or discrete math.
- Hands-on experience with Lean (Lean 3/4) and other proof systems (Coq, Isabelle/HOL, Agda).
- Ability to translate informal arguments into clean formal proofs.
Responsibilities
- Translate informal proofs into Lean and related systems with clarity and correctness.
- Analyze proofs to identify gaps, assumptions, and formalizable substructures.
- Construct formalizations that push the limits of proof assistants where automation struggles.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine verification pipelines and strategies.
