Job summary

Courageous Leadership Alliance, Inc. seeks a Workforce Development Facilitator to design, customize, and deliver leadership programs for federal, military, and commercial clients.

You will run in-person and virtual workshops, administer assessments, coach participants, and measure impact, with engagements paid per project. Remote work is available with occasional travel to client sites; a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in adult learning and facilitation are required, along with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, education, psychology, leadership, public administration, or related field; equivalent military training and experience may be considered
• At least five (5) years of experience facilitating leadership or workforce development programs for adult learners
• Experience delivering both in-person and virtual instructor-led training
• Working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design (ADDIE)
• Excellent presentation, listening, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences from entry level to senior executives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools
• Ability to travel to client sites as required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive in-person and virtual sessions on leadership, supervisory skills, communication, team building, conflict management, emotional intelligence, change management, and professional skills
• Partner with client stakeholders to assess needs and tailor curriculum, case studies, and exercises to the organization's mission and culture
• Develop and update facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and handouts using adult learning principles and the ADDIE model
• Administer and debrief assessments such as DiSC, MBTI, EQ-i 2.0, CliftonStrengths, and 360-degree feedback
• Provide individual and small-group coaching to reinforce learning and support action planning
• Evaluate program effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick model (Levels 1–3) and prepare after-action reports and recommendations for clients
• Support proposal and capture efforts by contributing facilitator qualifications, sample materials, and program designs
• Maintain professional standards, track attendance and deliverables, and represent CLA with professionalism at client sites
