Trane Technologies’ Global team is seeking a Thermal Systems Lead Engineer for the Technical Loop (Remote) to design and develop next‑generation thermal management for AI data centers.

You will lead roadmaps, collaborate with NVIDIA, specify components, mentor engineers, and represent the company in ASHRAE and OCP. This role demands deep thermodynamics and fluid dynamics expertise and strong cross‑functional communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience in thermal systems for data centers.
• Extensive experience in thermal design for IT hardware, electronics, or data centers.
• Deep understanding of single-phase and two-phase cooling technologies.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multi-generational roadmaps for the technical cooling loop in AI data centers.
• Serve as internal expert on direct-to-chip, immersion, and 2-phase cooling.
• Collaborate with partners like NVIDIA to meet future chip architecture requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications for equipment and controls.
• Own the technical loop thermal management system design within current and future reference design architecture.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new cooling technologies and components into our system reference designs.
• Evaluate and select pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and piping for reliability and efficiency.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional team members.
• Represent the company in industry standards bodies like ASHRAE and OCP.
