Job summary

TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, validation, and optimization of advanced thermal management systems for hyperscale data centers. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient cooling that supports AI compute at scale.

You will model cooling infrastructure, perform CFD analyses, guide construction and commissioning, and ensure compliance with ASHRAE and local codes while advancing sustainability and performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years in design, construction, and commissioning of large-scale HVAC or critical cooling systems.
• Experience with water-side design, fluid dynamics, and pumping systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and validation of high-efficiency cooling systems.
• Model cooling infrastructure including chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping.
• Perform CFD to optimize airflow and liquid flow for thermal containment.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction and commissioning for optimal performance (PUE/WUE).
• Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, codes, and sustainability standards.
